Video of MLK Weekend Powder 2020

Martin Luther King weekend of 2020 was kind to the Mad River Valley, dropping over a foot of snow spanning a few days.
Historically one of the busiest weekends of the year for the whole ski industry the snow was more than welcome in the Mad River Valley.
Long gone are the memories of sideways rain from a few years prior….
We got to Mt Ellen well before the hoards of skiers, manage to get on 5th chair and find fresh tracks on our first 4 runs.
If you were late to the game you found a full parking lot and all of the snow tracked, but I’m sure some of the secret stashes were getting hit all day.
The amazing thing is the lack of crowds on Monday, so if you were lucky enough to have it off from work you had a great bluebird with uncrowded slopes.
